Led by a former police officer, lessons focus on safety, awareness, and helping nervous drivers feel comfortable and capable on the road.

At Coffs Coast Driving Academy, learning to drive is about more than just passing a test.
Our lessons focus on building confidence, awareness, and safe driving habits that stay with you long after you get your licence.
With calm, structured guidance and longer 90-minute lessons, learners have the time to practise properly, ask questions, and develop real skills behind the wheel.
Whether someone feels nervous, learns differently, or simply wants a supportive environment, each lesson is tailored to help them succeed.

With a background as a Police Officer, safety isn’t just something I teach — it’s something I’ve lived. Learners gain practical awareness and defensive habits that help them stay safe in real situations.

Many learners feel anxious behind the wheel.
My calm teaching style and breathwork techniques help students stay focused, relaxed, and confident while learning.

Every learner is different. Whether someone learns quickly, needs extra time, or has a different learning style, lessons are tailored to suit them.

This isn’t just about passing a driving test. Students develop deep hazard perception, confidence, and safe driving habits that will stay with them long after they get their licence.

The instructor behind Coffs Coast Driving Academy.
Before becoming a driving instructor, I worked as a Police Officer where road safety, awareness, and staying calm under pressure were essential every day. That experience now shapes how I teach people to drive.
I know learning to drive can feel overwhelming — for both learners and parents. That’s why my lessons are structured, supportive, and focused on building real confidence behind the wheel.
As a trained Yoga & Breathwork instructor, I also incorporate simple techniques that help nervous drivers stay calm and focused during lessons.
My goal is simple: help people become safe, capable, and confident drivers for life.

Absolutely. I focus on anxiety management. I use patient instruction and techniques like my specialised breathwork to help you stay centered, calm, and focused from your first driving lesson.
Yes. With my experience in varied learning styles and neurodiversity, each driving lesson is built entirely around the student's needs, ensuring skills are built efficiently and without pressure.
I was born and raised here, so I know the Coffs Coast roads extremely well.
I also spent time working locally as a police officer with the NSW Police Force, which gave me real insight into road safety, traffic patterns, and the common hazards drivers face in this area.
In our lessons, I focus on managing local traffic conditions, busy school zones, holiday traffic, and the variety of road environments you’ll encounter across the Coffs Coast.
